Ingredients

Scale

Protein

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 slices bacon

Vegetables

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

Baking & Bread

  • 4 pieces sandwich buns or rolls

Seasonings & Oils

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the skillet: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat, making sure the pan is evenly coated to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook the chicken: Add the diced chicken breasts to the heated skillet. Season with salt and pepper to your preference. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken pieces are fully cooked through and no longer pink inside.
  3. Cook the bacon: While the chicken is cooking, use a separate skillet over medium heat to cook the 4 slices of bacon. Fry until crispy but not burnt. Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly, then chop the bacon into small pieces.
  4. Combine chicken and bacon: Once the chicken is cooked, remove the skillet from heat. Add the chopped bacon pieces directly into the skillet with the chicken. Pour in the 1/2 cup ranch dressing and stir well to combine all flavors thoroughly.
  5. Assemble the sandwiches: Take each sandwich bun and layer the bottom half with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Generously spoon the chicken, bacon, and ranch mixture over the vegetables.
  6. Finish the sandwich: Place the top half of the bun over the chicken mixture. Repeat this process for all four sandwiches.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Serve the sandwiches immediately while the chicken is warm and the bacon is crispy for the best taste experience.

Notes

  • Use freshly cooked chicken for the best texture and flavor.
  • Adjust ranch dressing amount based on your preference for creaminess.
  • To make it spicier, add a dash of hot sauce to the chicken mixture.
  • Optionally toast the sandwich buns lightly for extra crunch.
  • This sandwich is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
