Ingredients

Scale

Dumplings

  • 1420 Frozen Dumplings

Sauce

  • 3 Tablespoons Red Curry Paste
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil (or oil of choice)
  • 1 (14-ounce) can Coconut Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Ginger (minced)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey (or real maple syrup)

Garnishes

  • Cilantro, for garnish
  • 2 Green Onions (sliced)
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons Chili Crunch
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Baby Spinach (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a medium baking dish or ovenproof skillet to prevent sticking.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, red curry paste, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Taste and adjust flavors by adding more soy sauce for saltiness, rice vinegar for brightness, or curry paste for more spice.
  3. Arrange Dumplings: Place the frozen dumplings in a single layer in the greased baking dish. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the dumplings, ensuring they are mostly covered.
  4. Bake Covered: Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, allowing the dumplings to cook and absorb the flavors.
  5. Uncover and Continue Baking: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the dumplings are tender and fully cooked.
  6. Add Spinach and Garnish: If using, immediately top the hot dumplings with fresh baby spinach so it wilts slightly. Garnish generously with chopped cilantro, sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and chili crunch to add freshness and spice.

Notes

  • Fresh ginger and garlic add essential flavor; be sure to mince finely.
  • Adjust the level of spice by varying the amount of red curry paste and chili crunch.
  • Use a baking dish that is large enough to hold dumplings in a single layer for even cooking.
  • Baby spinach is optional but adds a fresh, nutritious element to the dish.
  • For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey.
