Ingredients

Scale

Crust and Topping

  • 20 Golden Vanilla Oreos
  • ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • Additional Oreo strawberry crumbs (for garnish)
  • Strawberry slices (optional, for garnish)

Pudding Layer

  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) Instant Jell-o Cheesecake Pudding mix
  • 4 cups whole milk, cold
  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, diced

Topping

  • 1 cup whipped cream (softened Cool Whip recommended)

Other

  • 810 4-ounce plastic cups or jars

Instructions

  1. Prepare Oreo Strawberry Crumbs: Pulse 20 Golden Vanilla Oreos and ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries together in a food processor until finely crushed. Alternatively, place them in a large ziplock bag and crush using a rolling pin to achieve fine crumbs.
  2. Make Cheesecake Pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together the two packages of instant cheesecake pudding mix with 4 cups of cold whole milk until smooth and well combined. Fold in the 1 ½ cups diced fresh strawberries gently. Let the mixture set for 5 minutes to thicken.
  3. Assemble Pudding Cups: Spoon a layer of the Oreo-strawberry crumbs at the bottom of each cup or jar. Add a layer of the cheesecake pudding mixture over the crumbs, then add another layer of crumbs followed by a second pudding layer. Place the assembled cups in the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.
  4. Add Final Topping and Garnish: Just before serving, top each pudding cup with about a tablespoon of softened whipped cream or Cool Whip. Garnish with additional Oreo strawberry crumbs and place a fresh strawberry slice on top for an elegant finish.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can substitute whole milk with 2% or skim milk, but the pudding may be less rich.
  • Freeze-dried strawberries add concentrated flavor and a slight tartness that complements the sweetness of the Oreos and pudding.
  • These cups can be prepared a few hours in advance and kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
  • Use clear cups or jars to showcase the pretty layered effect of the dessert.
  • If fresh strawberries are not available, frozen strawberries can be thawed and drained before folding into the pudding.
